Carly Rushton's Biography

Carly grew up and still resides in San Jose, CA. While she was young, art was a big part of her life due to the fact that her father was well immersed in art and teaching. Because of him, Carly has grown to appreciate art and thirst for growth in her own abilities. Carly's father never stopped challenging and pushing Carly to think outside the box, always making her take one, two or three steps further when completing a piece. Today Carly hopes to venture out into the art industry in the hopes of making him and her family proud. Carly is currently enrolled at Laguna College of Art And Design where she hopes to obtain a B.F.A in illustration. Her art at this time is random with no specific style since she is just beginning, but plans on achieving a personal style that she may call her own and be recognized for. Carly's work ethic revolves around constantly observing those around her; things found in nature, things made by man, and the emotions that we all feel each and every day. Her art is created by her experience which she hopes to share with fellow artist's she meets now and in the future.
