Chloe Dykstra's Biography

Chloe Dykstra was born and raised in Sherman Oaks, in the suburbs of Los Angeles. An only child, save for her brother and sister of the canine persuasion, she grew up independent and a bit more-than-slightly obsessive compulsive. She grew up in the film industry under her father, John Dykstra, that guy that did the special effects for the original Star Wars. Her first job, thanks to her father, was on the set of Stuart Little at the tender age of ten. Completely enchanted by the colorful set and atmosphere, and fascinated by the idea of being able to craft another universe from scratch, she decided she wanted a place in movie-making. She wrote her first feature-length script at fifteen, fueled by the need to create a life and story more interesting than the life and story she was living in the lackluster valley. In addition to writing, she spent a majority of time contributing to the "nerd" label she had earned in high school by screwing around on the internet and playing video games. After a few years of growth and braces, the same oddly elfish face and awkward body movement that contributed to her social pariah-ness earned her a place in modeling and commercial acting. More recently, Chloe realized she was able to combine her loves for internet culture and filmmaking, and thus began to get involved in webseries. After briefly working on a webshow called "There Will Be Brawl", Chloe is determined and currently in the process of creating her very own webseries. Eventually, she hopes to settle down someday and start a dog rescue in the desert
