Chris Denson's Biography

For more than 10 years, Chris Denson has been a leader in the entertainment industry with a career spanning television, film, live events, digital media and marketing. Beginning his career in 1999 as a television writer, he worked with the likes of BET, Jamie Foxx, and Triage Entertainment and teamed with director Michael Schultz as a creative executive for Imajimation Studios, where he wrote and produced branded entertainment campaigns for Nestle, adidas and Ford. As a freelancer, Chris worked in lead production roles for music videos (Mariah Carey, Robin Thicke), the LA Music Awards, the M.A.G.I.C. Fashion Conference and helped to launch a Hip Hop network alongside Playboy Television. He later served as the marketing director for the New York Film Academy's Universal Studios campus. With dozens of campuses worldwide, Chris was able to expand the global brand awareness of the institution through co-productions, social media, strategic partnerships, and live events. In 2007, Chris joined the American Film Institute's Digital Content Lab as the director of marketing and events, and also worked in production on digital media projects with companies like Von Dutch Originals, ABC.com, HBOlab, and several others. Chris has been a multi-media consultant on a number of projects, including Sony's Resident Evil: Degeneration, the Miracle Mile Art Walk (over 50 galleries), and a newly launched group of American television channels in Europe
