About Michelle Berc
Michelle Berc
Michelle Berc’s unlimited creative endeavors include art, photography, electronic music, curatorial exhibitions, event production and most recently, the exploration of clothing design. A Chicago native, Michelle grew up in Miami, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production and minored in Photography at Chapman University in Southern California. The motivation behind much of her creative process stems from her passion for music and DJ culture. Her love for, and now creation of, aural art informs her visual work and visa versa. In her visual design work on paper, Michelle creates a unique perspective, contrasting the granular structure of pointillism with the complexities of fractal design and tribal folk art. Her pieces are both organic and geometric in nature. The shapes, abstracts and simplistic colors move easily, drawing the eyes in a continual motion around the piece. Although reminiscent of the pop art of the '60's, Berc's pieces contain a fluidity uncommon among the 2-dimensional trend of that era. The depth and motion created in the work captures the eye as well as the mind, adding yet another dimension to a remarkable body of work. For the past ten years, Michelle Berc's name has been synonymous with her arts organization Create:Fixate. The organization's goal is to assist innovative new and emerging artists and encourage the general public to look upon these exhibits as a fantastic venue to discover new talent. Create:Fixate is considered one of LA’s most respected arts organization supporting emerging artists for the past nine years. As the event producer, Michelle has handled all curatorial aspects of these highly anticipated art events. As a result, she has developed a strong following of art patrons as well as relationships with hundreds of Angeleno, national, and international artists. Beyond the Create:Fixate quarterly events, Michelle has produced art exhibits that have been featured at the Downtown Art Walk, LACMA Art Walk, Venice Art Walk, the Electric Lodge, 18th Street Art Complex, and the Room to Read 10 Year Gala Fundraiser. As a natural extension of her curatorial work, she is also the creative energy behind Agent 23, her boutique art consulting agency. Throughout the years, she has been sought after by interior designers and realtors looking to add a fresh and stylish aesthetic to the finishing touches of their interiors. Her projects encompass taking raw spaces, commercial or residential and transforming them into a vibrant and festive interactive art experience. Spaces have ranged from 1,000 to 16,000 square feet exhibiting anywhere from 6 to 60 artists. Michelle’s design aesthetic demonstrates her natural and keen understanding of spatial and visual flow. Michelle’s mission is to connect emerging and mid-career artists and their work with collectors, finding the perfect home for their imagery to be enjoyed for years to come.

About Artist Terry Dixon
Artist Terry Dixon
Over the years, I enhanced my techniques on canvas by combining my abstract digital images with acrylic paint, oil pastels, and acrylic ink. My work has taken on a life of its own through the abstract kinetic lines that move to a mental rhythm as they flow from my hand. Every line, paint stroke, is a free flowing idea that is deeply rooted in sight and sound. My art is also influenced by, political issues, society, and various intuitive ideas. An additional back bone element of my art is fueled from THE "Free Jazz movement", that was prevalent in the 60’s and 70’s. As I listen to deep bass cords, drum beats, and harsh trumpet notes, I become connected with sound a my intuitive abstract line designs. I see my work always evolving and changing in its on depth through my exploration of new ideas and expressions. Most of my art is very intuitive and this allows me to be free and open to change, during the process of creating each new piece of work.
About Victoria Roberts
Victoria Roberts
Victoria Roberts, a Los Angeles native, has worked professionally in a variety of arts including animation, graphic art, sculpture, and assemblage. Beginning in the 1970’s, she learned the art and craft of hand-painting animation cells and contributed to several animated segments for television including; The Sonny and Cher Show, The Carol Burnett Show, and worked on animation for films such as Grease and Shinbone Alley. She then found an opportunity to develop her design sense as a graphic artist for a small design studio in Pasadena. In 1987, Victoria began an artistic partnership with her then artist husband, David Zweifel. During the 80’s and 90’s, in their Ventura, California studio, they created elaborate ceramic and wood sculptures for exhibition and sale in galleries across the country. As a natural expression of the combined artistic skills she had thus far developed, Victoria began working in assemblage. However, due to the economic realities involved in full-time artistic pursuits, Victoria was compelled to branch off in yet another direction, as a dealer of American art and antiques, and managing major art shows including the Los Angeles Art Show and the Marin Show: Art of the Americas. After years of working in the antique and art business, she found her way back to the Los Angeles area in 1998, where her focus eventually turned back to assemblage art. Her current works are infused with the sensibilities she gained from her experience in the art and antiques world. Sir John Cass College of Art, London, 1971-72 Pasadena City College, Studies in Art and Music, 1973-74 Santa Barbara City College, Studies in Art Assemblage under Ron Robertson, 1998
