PRIVACY STATEMENT
Protecting your privacy is important to us at Planet Illogica (“PI”). Our goal is to build the most ambitious online creative community in the world. We need your trust to do so. Our ability to create a rich user experience that serves the PI community means we need to create detailed profiles of our users. Sharing personal information is not easy. So we want you to understand the terms and conditions of our data collection and how we intend to use the information we gather. This privacy statement discloses the types of information we gather and how we use it. We also want you to know how to correct or change it. These privacy practices apply to the Web site that you were viewing when you clicked through to this policy, which is operated directly by PI.
Collecting Information
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with useful content and services that enable you to maximize your experience at PI. The more detailed your profile the better PI can serve your interests. Some, but not all, of the PI features will require you to provide us with information as a condition of usage. These include: access to Artist in Residence (“AIR”) areas; the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills through participation in marketing “challenges” or contests; opportunities to participate in special promotions and marketing endeavors with Pi corporate alliance partners, and subscription eligibility to various features; and participation in our highest level social networking features.
We collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, mobile number and credit card information when you provide it to us. From time to time, we may also collect other sensitive information such as your job title, gender, username and password. In order to maximize membership and take advantage of all the features that PI offers, Users will have the option of providing the following information: cultural interests (e.g. music, art, fashion, literary, culinary, etc.), education (special training, credentials, degrees, etc.), Recognition (awards, honors), influences, and creative portfolio. The information is collected through a series of easy to use menus, tabs, and fill-in forms.
Use of Cookies
PI uses an Internet browser feature known as cookies. This tool allows PI to store user login information and data about your visit to the PI site. You have the option of modifying your browser settings to disallow the use of cookies. Users will still be able to use the PI site without cookies, although the quality of your experience may be reduced. We reserve the option to use technologies that will enable PI to track general user visit patterns. In most instances, unless you have registered for a specific service, the tracking technology will not personally identify you. PI will automatically receive and record information from our servers and from your browser, including your IP address, the time of your visit to pages on our site, and information about pages you visited.
Cookies help us track:
* Return visits to our site or those of our affiliates, as well as advertisers, and content partners;
* Which features and content are the most popular;
* Statistical information (anonymous data collected in mass);
* Your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site; and
* Help you identify content based on your preferences.
We do not give any personally identifiable information to advertisers. You are responsible for any personal information you give advertisers when you visit their site. Each advertiser may have their privacy policy and you will be subject to their policy with regard to any information you provide them.
Personal Information
There are select occasions when we will make your personally identifiable information available to other companies or people. This occurs when:
* When required by law. For example, when we respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process.
* Your actions violate applicable laws, PI’s Terms of Use, or any usage guidelines for specific products or services, or threaten the rights, property, or safety of our company, our users, or others.
* You voluntarily give PI permission to share information when you register, or you later elect to have PI share your information by making the proper choice through the PI web site.
* You volunteer information or create a public profile in any of our social networking areas or feedback areas that allow user opinions, reviews, and social interaction with others.
* Users elect to participate with PI affiliate partners or third party web sites (“External Sites) in co-marketing ventures or services. You grant us permission to pass your registration information to our marketing/service partner when you agree to participate in a comarketing or co-branding event. In such instances, use of your information by the third party or External Site is subject to their respective privacy policies.
* We need to provide your information to third party vendors to help PI fulfill its obligations to you. In such instances, these companies use of your information will be limited to performing the necessary service and may not be used for personal or company use. PI may engage third-party vendors to provide specialized services such as customer support; email message transmission, data processing, and other such specialized services.
* You terminate your subscription and we need to issue removal instructions to third parties so that they take you off of their email lists.
Other Uses
PI may aggregate and disclose personal information to third parties in a grouped, non-personally identifiable manner for marketing, promotional or other purposes. PI will not, however, identify you personally. In addition, PI may buy, sell, or merge (or be acquired), with another company. If we do so, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction to maintain your service or for other legitimate business purposes.
User Options
You do not have to provide PI personal information to view the web site. Your user experience, however, will be limited because the purpose of PI is to create a robust community by and for artist empowerment and enjoyment. PI’s ability to do so, is in part based on two-way communication and sharing of information between artist and PI. Each user can determine the extent and scope of personal information they wish to share in the registration process.

Changes in Privacy Policy
Notices of material changes in our privacy policy will be posted on the PI web site. The actual changes will be explained in this area of the web site. Users will receive email notification of any major changes in how PI collects and uses information obtained from members if it is different from the time of their registration.
Children
The PI web site is not for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly permit registration by, and will not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from, anyone under 13 years of age. This requirement is clearly posted during the registration process.
