Stephanie Bradley's Biography

I am a painter and a writer. My artwork reflects the events and experiences i have in Los Angeles, that I like to refer to as "the Hollywood effect" or "Hollywoodisms". The majority of paintings I have created this year reflect my first hand connection to the Prop 8 protest that first occurred on the corner of San Vicente Blvd. and Santa Monica Blvd. in the last month of 2008 and early 2009. That was the most intense protest I had witnessed in my lifetime. It was invigorating and passionate on every level. I am also writing a short story about it. Also, I was planning to get married this year, but my fiance and I decided we would postpone our wedding until the law passes {being that we have several friends that are gay and cannot get married,} so, why should we be able to? Right? Love is love. Other than that , my artwork should evoke a laugh or two. I love to make fun of the people in Hollywood.
