Sean Boyles's Biography

I grew up in San Jose, California, where I still operate. From 1995-1999 I attended CCA. After receiving a BFA, I taught children of all ages in school to draw and paint until 2004. I went to Mills College and studied further under Hung Loi for 2 years, then got my MFA in 2006. In 2007 I went to the Sundance Film Festival as a Production Illustrator and Lead Contributing Artist for "We Are Strange." My drawings have been used in other animations that can be found off the links on my site. SInce 2008 I have been teaching at Santa Clara University. I am a part time professor, full time artist, some time illustrator, some time printmaker. I've shown in just about every gallery in San Jose and the Bay Area, up and down the West Coast, New York, and Japan. In my studio, I continue to draw and paint, print T-shirts/beanies/hoodies/buttons and publish books
