tariq raheem's Biography

Tariq is an Australian digital illustrator / concept artist who currently resides in Los Angeles CA.He has over ten years of freelance and production house experience and his love of Sci-Fi and Fantasy art has led him to work in computer game development, film & TV production and music video & TVC (Television Commercial) production industry. Some of his credits include concept art and design for the acclaimed Sy Fy network series Farscape. He was primarily the lead concept designer for season four. His game credits include, lead artist for Interplay / Microforte's top rated RPG Fallout Tactics. He was also the lead cinematic story board artist for Sony/ Ninja Theory's Playstation 3 title Heavenly Sword. Other game credits include concept artist for Microsoft's Citizen Zero and THQ's S.T.A.L.K.E.R-Shadows of Chernobyl. He has been presented in Spectrum 12 as one of the years best for the November 2004 and 2008 spring cover issues of Heavy Metal Magazine. Tariq has also been showcased and interviewed by Imagine FX magazine. As well ,he has been the recipient of a 'CG Choice Award' from the world's largest Digital Art forum, CG Talk He has also had a myriad of story boarding and concept art experience for various productions, ranging from television advertisements to music videos. Currently he is employed by Petrol Advertising as senior illustrator & continues to freelance successfully and exhibit his work via art forums such as Deviant Art and Concept Art.org.
